Experimental Film Photography

Description

A series of experimental film pieces based on the idea of the overlooked, 
the facade of the modern city and the hidden history within the layering of 
centuries of development and inhabitation. 

Many of these photos were taken on out of date film and then degraded using bleach
 to create the texture and wear away at some of the image. I then placed many of 
them back inside abandoned buildings to be photographed again. 

Many of the photographs themselves and the images of them back inside the 
forgotten spaces went on to be part of an exhibition inside an old lift shaft in 
the School of Art at MMU.
